THE DRAGON GUARDIANS

There is a Dragon hidden in a park. It’s been asleep for thousands of years. The Dragon Guardians are looking for new recruits to help take care of her.

Based on an original story we devised this one hour children’s show, aimed at 5-6 year olds, over four weeks in collaboration with actors, song writers, technicians and designers that was fully interactive and educational outdoor show.

We activated a disused Pitch and Putt Space in South Norwood Country Park in Croydon (South East London) with the aim to bring families together, outdoors, after lockdown. We introduced the audience to themes of conservation, showed them some basic survival skills, challenged their imaginations, gave them a chance to step into the natural world on their backdoor and rediscover their local park with new eyes.

“We loved the story, and the dragon at the end was a very good way to end the show. Very realistic”

Erin Sainsbury

“They liked the fact that it was so interactive and that the setting had been used so well for the story. It was an original idea and brilliantly executed"
